Strata Fine Art Services

Backed by over a decade of experience as a professional fundraising executive in Chicago, IL
and Washington, DC, Kendra D. Miller has single-handedly planned and managed small- and
large-scale special events. She has experience coordinating financially and socially
successful art auctions and openings, anniversary dinners and celebrations, trade shows, art
and historic preservation bus tours, and other cultural events.
Miller has had the pleasure of appraising artwork from the National Museum of Women in the
Arts (Washington, DC), George Mason University (Manassas, VA), the Cleveland Museum of Art
(OH), and select private collections. With discretion, her appraisal experiences augment the
lectures Miller teaches at local community colleges and museums.
She received a B.A. from Northwestern University (Evanston, IL) in Art History; an M.A. in Arts
Administration from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (IL); and a certificate in Fine and
Decorative Arts Appraisal Studies from The George Washington University Center for
Professional Development (Washington, DC), through which she is affiliated with the American
Society of Appraisers.
Miller has been honored with the following designations from Marquis publications: Who's Who
of American Women (Silver Anniversary edition); Who's Who in America (61st edition); and the
inaugural edition of Who's Who of Emerging Leaders (2007).
